March Newsletter

Currently, I'm editing Three Sisters' March newsletter. We always get more material than we can fit into a reasonable length. I think people will be interested in the featured speaker, so I plan to put a follow up "Speaker Spotlight" here after the newsletter release.

If anyone would like a pre-printed Stuff Sale vendor application, please let me know by phone or email. Thanks, JULIA

Need for Speech Expert

We had a prospect orally commit to speaking on speech therapy; she has now committed to another event and will not be at Home Learning Resources Conference and Sale. Please drop us a line if this subject is one that you would like to see us pursue again. Thanks!

Registrations coming in

That's right -- some people are on the ball and have registered for Home Learning Resources Conference. We truly appreciate early birds, as they allow us to supply preliminary attendance information to prospective vendors for the HLR Sale. As a first time event, early numbers are quite important. We intend to send confirmation emails as we receive your registrations. Thank you!

Working

New prospects keep coming to our attention. Picture Book Patch, a used book seller, from Des Moines and Doorposts, dealer of character building materials, are both being contacted. We want to serve our community, so send an email if you have suggestions for prospective vendors.

Changes

In an attempt to unify the look of our website, blog, and business cards, we have changed our color schemes. We want them to look like they go together. The content has not changed. Everything published in the past is still available and reads the same.

A unified look is important to us, but not a priority at the moment, so things may look ragged until June-ish. Summer will be a time for major cosmetic change. Our business continues to focus on admission free sales events and meeting the needs of the home school community (without turning into a support group).

Update on the Home Learning Resources Sale: Julia's Attic has verbally committed to a booth. Hyperlinks for verbal commitments will be activated once a paper commitment is received. This will allow you to make a shopping list before the Sale.

Registrants are finding things all the time as they do an early spring cleaning. Updates will go here until our March newsletter is released.
