2009-2010 Programming

On the calendar:

August 28 at 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. Monarch Tagging. Presented by a Polk County Conservation naturalist. Catch, tag, and release monarchs on the prairie. $2 per child. Registration opens Aug. 1.

August 28 at 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. Monarch Tagging. Presented by a Polk County Conservation naturalist. Catch, tag, and release monarchs on the prairie. $2 per child. Registration opens Aug. 1.

Sept. 18 at 10 and 11 a.m. Renaissance Day. Grades 1 -3 at 10 - 11 a.m.; Grades 4 and up from 11 - noon. $2/kid. Registration opens August 18. Topics include calligraphy, peasant dancing, games and sports, and stained glass. Kids will take home calligraphy and stained glass. If you would like to bring a poster to show everyone what you have learned prior to this program, let us know and we'll provide an easel. There is a playground on the property if you need to occupy one age group while the other is in the program.
